The gloomy week continues as rainfall is expected throughout the country today with meteorologists bracing for storm “Dorothea” which will make its appearance starting this afternoon.

Clouds will be dense in Central and Western Macedonia, Thessaly, Central and Eastern mainland, Eastern and Southern Peloponnese, Central and Southern Aegean, and Crete.

Local showers are expected mainly in the mountainous regions around Greece and in Crete.

Winds will blow at 3 to 5 points on the Beaufort scale, reaching 6 Beaufort in the Ionian.

Temperatures will remain high for the season, ranging from 11 to 19 degrees Celsius across the country. In Athens, temperatures will range from 14 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Storm “Dorothea” is expected to take centerstage tomorrow bringing heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and high winds.
