Lionel Messi, the Argentinian football superstar, will continue to deliver magical moments to the fans of Inter Miami for at least another three years.
Messi, considered by many the GOAT, has signed a new three-year extension contract with Inter Miami, the MLS club officially announced on Thursday (October 23).
Now 38 years old, Messi won the MLS Golden Boot for the regular season, scoring 29 goals—five more than Denis Bouanga and Giorgos Giakoumakis—while also recording 19 assists.
Messi has been playing for Inter Miami since July 2023 and has tallied 71 goals and 37 assists in 82 appearances.
“It makes me really happy to stay here and to continue with this project that, besides being a dream, has become a beautiful reality – playing in this stadium, at Miami Freedom Park,” Messi said. “Since I arrived in Miami, I’ve been very happy, so I’m truly glad to keep going here.
