The moment has arrived. Olympiacos and Real Madrid are set to face off in the grand final of the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four at the T-Center in Athens.
Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m., in the game that will bring the tournament to a close and crown Europe’s new basketball champion.
Olympiacos are chasing the fourth EuroLeague title in club history, while Real Madrid — the competition’s most decorated side — are aiming for their 12th continental crown.
The officiating crew for the final will consist of Sreten Radovic, Robert Lottermoser, and Oļegs Latisevs.
Olympiacos enter the historic clash at full strength, with head coach Georgios Bartzokas having his entire roster available. Real Madrid, meanwhile, have been hit hard by injuries and will also be without Usman Garuba, leaving the Spanish giants severely depleted in the frontcourt.
A statistical comparison between the two teams during the regular season highlights their contrasting basketball philosophies, their core strengths, and the fine margins expected to decide the title.
Olympiacos finished the regular season atop the standings with a 26-12 record, displaying remarkable consistency and peaking at exactly the right moment during the closing rounds. On the other side, Sergio Scariolo’s Real Madrid secured third place at 24-14, remaining firmly among the league leaders throughout the campaign and once again demonstrating the know-how required for elite-level games.
Sunday’s final will mark the third meeting between the two clubs this season. During the EuroLeague regular season, Bartzokas’ side recorded one win and one defeat against the Madrid powerhouse.
More specifically, Olympiacos dismantled Real Madrid 102-88 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in the second half of the season, with Tyler Dorsey delivering a career performance by scoring 37 points.
Earlier in the campaign, however, Olympiacos suffered an 89-77 defeat in Madrid on Round 2, with Dorsey once again finishing as the game’s leading scorer.
