Greek ministers and executives hailed new partnerships and rising investment interest, projecting confidence about the country’s energy future
Greece’s Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Vassilis Kikilias, underscored the close maritime ties between Greece and the Republic of Korea.
Kikilias outlined Greece’s potential as a regional energy hub, emphasizing the country’s role as an entry point for LNG from various nations, including the United States.
“What we want in Greece is people seeking job opportunities and a better life through legal means,” said Greece's maritime minister.
Kikilias met with U.S. Secretary of the Interior and Head of the National Energy Sovereignty Council (NEDC), Doug Burgum.
The plan includes the acquisition of two large offshore vessels capable of operating across the Mediterranean, as well as additional smaller pursuit craft.
The new measures include free travel (including a companion and vehicle) twice a month for kidney patients, cancer patients, and people with disabilities over 67%.
