Hundreds marched from Stadiou Street to Syntagma Square, calling for workplace safety, gender equality and justice for the five female factory workers killed in Trikala.
Parents’ associations are also taking part, rallying behind the slogan “everyone in the streets for our children’s right to education.”
According to Turkish media Anadolu, the rally, organized by the National Will Platform—a coalition of 308 NGOs—drew elders, women, and children who carried Turkish and Palestinian flags, prayed for peace, and called for an end to the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
