The latest trailer for Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated The Odyssey starring Matt Damon in the lead role debuted on Monday, accompanied by news that rapper Travis Scott will make a cameo as the messenger in the upcoming film adaption of the Greek poem by Homer.
He appears in the teaser delivering a resonant prophecy of war.
“A war, a man, a trick—a trick to break the walls of Troy. It’s burning, screaming to the ground,” he roars as he slams a staff into the ground during a banquet attended by Telemachus, Odysseus’ son, played by Tom Holland, and the king of Sparta, Menelaus, played by Jon Bernthal.
