Starting at 9 p.m. on August 28, film lovers will have the chance to enjoy their favorite pastime under the full moon at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in Athens.
The SNFCC’s Full Moon Film Marathon is back this year with an all-night tribute to legendary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.
The August moon, also known as the Sturgeon Moon, will rise over the SNFCC park as the marathon kicks off with four iconic Kubrick films: “Dr. Strangelove” (1964), “2001: A Space Odyssey” (1968), “A Clockwork Orange”(1971), and “The Shining”(1980).
