A “Made in Chengdu” mini film festival is taking place this week at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in central Athens, showcasing six motion picture works by the Chengdu Film Group.

The screened films include a documentary, animation, art films, a comedy and even an action comedy that’s the latest movie starring Jackie Chan.

Specifically, the screenings include the documentary Captain Qomolangma by Wu Xi, detailing a Mt. Everest ascent by a group of mountaineers from Sichuan and record-setting high-altitude drone footage.

Heroes of the Golden Mask is an animated film by director Sean Patrick O’Reilly; The Shadowless Tower is an art film by Zhang Lü; Hot Pot Artist is a comedy directed by Cui Zhijia.

Panda Plan is an action comedy directed by Zhang Luan and featuring veteran movie star Jackie Chan.

Finally, Everlasting Love is another art film, directed by Ding Pei.
