The Greek Culture Ministry has launched an open call for proposals for the 2026 edition of the “All Greece One Culture” initiative, inviting cultural organizations to submit original works centered on the theme “return to humanity”.

Submissions can be made online starting Wednesday, December 3, via the Register of Cultural Institutions, through to January 12, 2026.

Proposals must present original creations that have never before been showcased in Greece or abroad. Each proposal must combine at least two of six artistic fields:

  • music
  • theater
  • dance
  • musical theatre
  • visual arts/performance
  • activities for children and adolescents

Specific rules apply for music-related works, including requirements for original scores when paired with musical theater or theater.

For visual arts proposals, exhibitions may span the full duration of the program, with accompanying artistic components presented up to twice.

Entering its seventh year, the 2026 “All Greece One Culture” program expands to 95 events with a total budget of 2.3 million euros. This year’s concept is inspired by Menander’s comedy “Dyskolos”, and more specifically, its verse: “How beautiful is man when he is truly human.”

The initiative aims to promote both Greece’s cultural heritage and contemporary artistic innovation.

The Greek National Opera will oversee the program’s administrative and organizational planning.

Eligible proposals submitted by cultural bodies operating as Civil Non-Profit Societies (AMKE) will be evaluated by a special committee.

“All Greece One Culture” events to be hosted at archaeological sites, monuments, and museums across Greece from July 1 to August 31, 2026 are open to the public and free of charge.
