The anticipated Easter holiday store hours will commence on Thursday, April 25, marking the beginning of adjusted schedules across commercial establishments.

This shift coincides with the forthcoming festivities of the Orthodox Easter period with Easter Sunday falling on May 5 this year.

The Hellenic Retail Business Association (SELPE) has released a comprehensive outline detailing the operational hours for commercial enterprises during this period:

On Palm Sunday, April 28, a modified operating timetable will see stores welcoming customers from 11 am to 4 pm.

From Holy Monday, April 29, to Maundy Thursday, May 2, stores will open their doors from 9 am to 9 pm.

On Good Friday, May 3, trading hours are set from 1 pm to 9 pm.

Holy Saturday, May 4, stores will resume regular hours, operating from 9 am to 9 pm.

On Easter Monday, May 6, all stores will remain closed.

Finally, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, closures will persist due to the transfer of the May Day holiday.
