A video posted by a motorcyclist on social media shows a black Mercedes traveling in the wrong direction on the Athens-Corinth highway, with an elderly woman reportedly behind the wheel.
The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, near the Magoula exit, on the lanes heading toward Corinth.
The footage shows the Mercedes traveling against the flow of traffic, creating a sudden danger for other drivers on the highway.
According to reports, the elderly woman entered the wrong side of the highway for an unknown reason. It remains unclear how long she continued driving in the wrong direction.
Authorities are searching for the driver to gather further information about the incident.
