Greece to Disburse €70M in Benefits and Lump-Sum Payments

From March 9 to 13, over 73,000 beneficiaries in Greece will receive unemployment aid, maternity leave support, employment program payments, and lump-sum pensions through e-EFKA and DYPA, totaling €70.4 million in scheduled disbursements

Greece is set to distribute €70.4 million in social benefits and lump-sum payments to 73,000 beneficiaries between March 9 and 13, 2026. The payments, announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, will be made through the e-EFKA social insurance system and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

Breakdown of Payments:

  • e-EFKA Lump-Sum Pensions: €18 million will be paid to 900 recipients following the issuance of pension decisions.
  • DYPA Unemployment and Other Benefits: €28 million will reach 47,000 beneficiaries.
  • Maternity Leave Support: €3 million will be provided to 3,800 mothers.
  • Employment Program Payments: €20 million will be distributed to 19,000 participants in subsidized employment programs.
  • Community Service Programs: €1.4 million will go to 2,300 recipients under public-benefit initiatives.

The Ministry emphasized that these disbursements are part of the regularly scheduled support measures to assist citizens across various social and employment programs.
