A new incident involving minors occurred on Friday, November 21, outside a school complex in Neo Irakleio, a northern suburb of Attica. Police intervened after reports of a fight, during which one of the students was found carrying a folding knife.
Fight Over Minor Dispute
The students reportedly got into a physical altercation over a trivial matter. An eyewitness immediately alerted authorities, and police who arrived at the scene to apprehend the suspects, who had initially fled.
Three 16-Year-Olds Arrested
Following an investigation that included witness statements and security camera footage, police identified some of the participants. Three 16-year-olds were located nearby and taken into custody.
Two of the students admitted to being involved in the fight. During a search of their personal belongings, authorities found a 14 cm folding knife. Two additional minors were also identified as participants in the incident.
Charges Filed
The three arrested students were brought to the Neo Irakleio Police Department, where charges were formally filed. The official police report names two more minors who were involved in the altercation, bringing the total number implicated to five.
