PAOK football club paid tribute to seven of its supporters who were killed in a road accident in Romania, with moving scenes unfolding at Toumba Stadium ahead of the team’s match against Panserraikos.
Before kickoff, the club organized a series of commemorative actions to honor the memory of the fans, creating a deeply emotional atmosphere inside the stadium. Players from both teams laid flowers in front of the section reserved for PAOK’s most dedicated supporters.
PAOK players entered the pitch wearing black-and-white shirts bearing the date of the fatal accident and the word “Immortal,” a gesture symbolizing remembrance and respect for the victims.
A minute’s silence was observed before the match began, ending with a chant from the stands expressing solidarity and eternal remembrance. At the same time, hundreds of flares were lit by supporters in the home end, filling the stadium with light and emotion.
