Woman Injured, Driver Attempts to Flee

The incident occurred at the intersection of Akti Miaouli and Bouboulina Streets. A 42-year-old man driving under the influence struck a 57-year-old woman, who fortunately sustained only minor injuries. She was promptly taken by ambulance to Attikon Hospital for treatment.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver tried to flee the scene following the collision. However, he was quickly stopped by nearby motorists who intervened until police arrived. Officers proceeded with the arrest.
