Hellenic Train, Italian FS Group’s passenger and freight subsidiary in Greece, has announced the suspension of all local suburban rail services between Ano Liosia and Kantza, effective Monday, July 14, until further notice. The decision comes following instructions from the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE), the infrastructure manager.

Suspended Services

The following train routes on the Athens Suburban Railway line have been cancelled:

• From Ano Liosia to Kantza: Routes 4200, 4204, 4208, 4212, 4232, 4236, 4240, and 4244
• From Kantza to Ano Liosia: Routes 4205, 4209, 4213, 4217, 4237, 4241, 4245, and 4249

Bus Replacement Services

To minimize disruption for passengers, Hellenic Train will operate replacement bus services covering the affected section between Ano Liosia and Kantza in both directions.

In its statement, the company emphasized that both management and staff are making every effort to reduce inconvenience and expressed gratitude to the public for their understanding.
