Wednesday will be an unsettled and stormy day across Greece, with severe weather developing mainly in western and northern regions. From early morning, strong rain and thunderstorms will impact Corfu, Paxos, and parts of Epirus. These storms will gradually extend throughout the western mainland and into areas of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. In the west, some storms may produce hail, especially in northwestern regions.

Elsewhere, lighter but still occasional showers or thunderstorms are expected in parts of the Peloponnese, Central Greece, the Cyclades, and the eastern Aegean islands. Travelers should anticipate rapidly changing conditions and localized disruptions.

Temperatures will rise compared to early-week values. Western Macedonia will range from 37°F to 59°F (3°C to 15°C). The rest of Macedonia and Thrace will reach 43°F to 63–66°F (6°C to 17–19°C). Thessaly will warm to 61–72°F (20–22°C), after a morning low near 43°F (6°C).
Epirus will see 50°F to 63–66°F (10°C to 17–19°C), while other mainland regions will vary between 52°F and 68–73°F (11°C to 20–23°C). The Ionian Islands will reach 57–66°F (14°C to 17–19°C). The Aegean islands and Crete will range from 54°F up to 68–72°F (12°C to 20–22°C).

Southerly winds will be strong across the Aegean at 5–6 Beaufort. In the Ionian, winds from the south–southeast will blow at similar intensities before shifting to the southwest at night with slight weakening.

Athens (Attica) will experience cloudy skies with a chance of brief, light showers mainly in the morning and again later in the afternoon. Southerly winds will reach 4–5 Beaufort. Temperatures in the city center will range from 59°F to 66–68°F (15°C to 19–20°C).

Thessaloniki will start with clouds that thicken as the day progresses. Rain is expected from the afternoon onward. Winds will blow from the southeast at 3–5 Beaufort, and temperatures will range from 55°F to 66°F (13°C to 19°C).
