After conflicting statements by police yesterday and confusion about whether the metro station at Syntagma would be open on Tuesday, police announced today it would remain closed on Tuesday, June 24, at 6 pm due to scheduled protests and rising tensions in the Middle East.
The public transport operator “Athens Urban Rail Transport” (STASY) said the train would bypass the Syntagma station after 6 pm.
