A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a passenger car while riding an electric scooter in the Greek coastal town of Loutraki, during the early hours of Monday.
According to the report, the collision occurred on Eleftheriou Venizelou Avenue when the car emerged from a nearby side street and struck the teenager.
As reported, the impact was so severe that the boy became trapped beneath the vehicle. Emergency responders and police were quickly dispatched to the scene, where paramedics provided first aid before transporting him to Corinth General Hospital.
The teenager suffered a fractured collarbone and is expected to undergo surgery.
