Monday will bring generally clear and calm weather across Greece. Most regions will enjoy sunshine with only a few passing clouds. In the west and southwest, cloudier conditions may lead to brief, scattered showers, mainly over mountainous inland areas. Visibility will be locally reduced in inland regions through the morning and again late in the day.
Temperatures will be close to seasonal norms. Western Macedonia will range from 30°F to 50°F (-1°C to 10°C), while the rest of Macedonia and Thrace will see 39°F to 57°F (4°C to 14°C). Thessaly will range from 39°F to 61°F (4°C to 16°C), Epirus from 34°F to 57°F (1°C to 14°C), and Central Greece from 39°F to 61°F (4°C to 16°C).
In the Peloponnese, temperatures will reach 41°F to 63°F (5°C to 17°C). The Ionian Islands will range from 45°F to 61°F (7°C to 16°C). The northern and eastern Aegean islands will see 41°F to 63°F (5°C to 17°C), the Cyclades 46°F to 63°F (8°C to 17°C), the Dodecanese 57°F to 64°F (14°C to 18°C), and Crete 48°F to 64°F (9°C to 18°C). Minimum temperatures in the Aegean islands and Crete are expected late in the 24-hour period.
Winds in the northern Aegean will begin from the west to northwest at 4–6 Beaufort, shifting to southwesterly at 2–4 Beaufort by afternoon. In the central and southern Aegean, westerly to northwesterly winds will blow at 4–6 Beaufort, easing to 2–4 Beaufort after midday, except over the southern Dodecanese where they will remain stronger. In the Ionian Sea, northwest winds at 2–4 Beaufort will shift to southerly winds of 4–6 Beaufort by afternoon.
In Athens, expect sunshine with a few passing clouds. Winds will blow from the west at 2–4 Beaufort, and temperatures downtown will range from 50°F to 61°F (10°C to 16°C).
In Thessaloniki, the day will start sunny with high clouds increasing from midday onward. Winds will be light and variable up to 3 Beaufort. Morning visibility may be locally reduced. Temperatures in the city center will range from 46°F to 57°F (8°C to 14°C).
