170 tattoo artists showcase their work

Under the theme Athens Tattoo Expo — Beyond Ink, this year’s edition will feature 170 artists specially selected and invited to participate in the anniversary event.

The line-up spans a wide range of tattoo styles, from traditional designs and tribal motifs to hyperrealism, fine-line work and experimental techniques. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists, discover emerging talent and watch live tattooing sessions throughout the festival.

The event also serves as a meeting point for professionals, bringing together established names from Greece’s tattoo scene and providing a platform for artists to present their work and exchange ideas.

Beyond tattoos: Music, art and street culture

The anniversary program extends beyond tattooing, transforming the Old OSY Bus Depot into a hub of street culture and live entertainment.

Activities include tattoo competitions, live DJ sets and bands, art exhibitions, graffiti and street performances, BMX shows, fire performances, pole dancing, acrobatics and body painting. Game rooms and an interactive zone will also form part of the festival experience.

Tattoos for a good cause

The Athens Tattoo Expo will once again support Make-A-Wish Greece, continuing a charitable initiative that has accompanied the festival since its first year.

Through the Star Your Body campaign, visitors can get a tattoo inspired by the organization’s “Wish Star”, with 100% of the proceeds from these tattoos going to Make-A-Wish Greece to support its work fulfilling the wishes of children who need it.

According to the organizers, participating artists have created more than 8,000 Wish Star tattoos to date. The initiative gives visitors a way to support the organization while taking home a small piece of tattoo art with a charitable purpose.
