Μake us preferred on Google An exhibition bringing together contemporary artists from South Korea and Greece will open in Athens on September 9, marking the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Korea–Greece 65th Anniversary Modern Art Invitational Exhibition: In Search of the Dream of Peace and Love will run through September 14 at the City of Athens Arts Center in Eleftherias Park. Organized by the Korean Association of International Cultural Exchange and the City of Athens, through its Culture, Sports and Youth Organization, the exhibition aims to strengthen friendship and cultural exchange between the two countries through contemporary art.

The exhibition features 194 works by Korean contemporary artists working across different artistic genres, alongside works by contemporary Greek artists. Together, the works offer an opportunity for audiences in Athens to encounter aspects of Korean culture through art while bringing Korean and Greek artistic practices into dialogue.

The exhibition is supported by the Korea Minhwa Promotion Association and the Arisu Artists Association. Alongside the artworks, the program will include interviews with some of the participating artists as well as a series of seminars.
The opening will take place on Wednesday, September 9, at 7 p.m. . The exhibition runs from September 9 through 14, 2026.
