Prep Time 5′   Cooking Time 5′    Serves 2

  • 4 slices toasted bread
  • 6 slices thin bacon
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 lettuce leaves (heart)
  • 4 slices tomato
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • A few drops of vinegar
  • A few drops of olive oil

  1. In a non-stick pan, fry the bacon over medium to high heat for about 5 minutes until crispy.
  2. Remove it onto some paper to absorb the excess fat.
  3. Place the tomato slices in a bowl and add salt, pepper, vinegar, and olive oil, then mix to coat them all around.
  4. Toast the bread and once warm, spread mayonnaise on all 4 slices.
  5. Divide the lettuce, crispy bacon, and tomato slices evenly between the two bottom slices.
  6. Cover with the top slices.
  7. Cut diagonally for the full experience (sandwiches just taste better when cut diagonally).
