Ruling New Democracy (ND) party leads second-place PASOK by 17 percentage points in an estimate of voters’ preferences, with the former reaching 33%, while PASOK creeps up to 16%.

The Euroskeptic and right-of-center Elliniki Lysi (Greek Solution) party comes in at 7.1%), the Communist Party (KKE) is at 6.2%, while the Euroskeptic and anti-establishment Plefsi Elefterias (Course of Freedom) is at 5%. Another three lesser parties are projected above the 3% threshold needed for Parliament representation.

It should be noted that in the poll, presented by the Political website, PASOK records an increase in its support, something linked to the party’s recent congress and the signs of consolidation that emerged.

ND also leads in voting intention

Regarding the question of “if we had elections next Sunday, which party would you vote for?”, 26.4% answered ND and 14.2% PASOK. The “undecided” vote was 19.5%.

Gains for PASOK and Tsipras, decline for Karystianou

According to the Interview firm poll, regarding the question “how likely is it that you would change your choice in favor of Karystianou’s party?”, 11.1% answered very likely, 6.5% fairly likely, 8.7% slightly likely, 73.5% not at all likely, and 0.2% don’t know/no answer. The query refers to Maria Karystianou, the most prominent family member of a Tempi rail victim.

Answering the same question regarding a new party by former prime minister Alexis Tsipras, 10.9% said very likely, 4.6% fairly likely, 7% slightly likely, 76.8% not at all likely, and 0.7% don’t know/no answer.
