A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Greece shortly after 12:18 p.m. on Thursday, with the epicenter located 11 kilometers northeast of Raptopulo in the Evrytania regional unit, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.

The quake was recorded at a focal depth of 13.7 kilometers.

The tremor was felt across a wide area extending well beyond the Thessaly region, with residents reporting shaking as far away as Patras in the Achaia region, according to local media. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
