Anna Vissi’s side clarified its position on MEGA TV regarding reports about the tax audit of her major concert at OAKA. The popular singer’s associates stress that all legal procedures have been fully followed and that all financial obligations have been met as normal.
As part of the audits by AADE, Greece’s tax authority, the event’s financial data are being examined, including revenue, expenses, tickets, contracts, invoices, and fees paid to contributors. The artist’s side points out that audits of concerts on this scale are common practice:
“Audits are a standard procedure for all major concerts, especially with such a large number of tickets. The same thing happened last year and the year before, with all obligations fully covered. The exact same procedure is being followed this year and is expected to be completed in the coming days. Everything is proceeding completely smoothly and as expected.”
Rumors and Denial About Companies in England and Cyprus
Anna Vissi’s associates flatly denied the scenarios that have circulated in recent hours. As they stressed, there is no wrongdoing of any kind, and they rejected reports about companies in England and Cyprus with VAT debts.
“We have been completely legal and consistent in all our obligations all these years. This year, like every previous year, all the necessary documents, receipts, and agreements have been submitted as normal. There is absolutely nothing wrong,” people close to the singer noted.
AADE Team Visits Nikos Karvelas
Journalist Ioanna Mandrou also reported on the matter, saying that an AADE team visited the home of Nikos Karvelas. The purpose of the auditors’ visit was to serve a document related to the tax audit.
Although there were reports of possible tension outside the composer’s home, he flatly denied that any incident took place with the auditors. According to the same reports, the authorities are conducting audits concerning both Nikos Karvelas and Anna Vissi.
