A 24-year-old woman attempted to pass through security at Heraklion Airport in Crete on Saturday afternoon, April 4, pushing her baby in a stroller—unaware, she claimed, that 10 pistol bullets were hidden inside it.

Initial screening proceeded without incident. However, when the stroller went through the X-ray scanner, experienced airport security officers detected suspicious objects. A thorough inspection followed, revealing the ammunition concealed within the back of the stroller.

According to reports, the bullets had been carefully hidden, making their removal a time-consuming process for security personnel.

The woman, a student in Heraklion, had been preparing to travel abroad with her child to spend the Easter holidays with relatives. She reportedly denied any knowledge of the concealed ammunition.
