A serious shooting incident occurred early Sunday in the village of Paranymfoi near Heraklion, Crete, when a 19-year-old allegedly opened fire on a local resident’s home and vehicle. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect.

According to reports, residents were awakened in the early hours by gunshots outside their doors. The target of the attack was a 35-year-old local livestock farmer, who has no known criminal record. The perpetrator reportedly fired twice at the house and once at the parked agricultural vehicle.

Police from the Archanes-Asterousia station were called to the scene, securing evidence and beginning an investigation into the incident. Although the suspect’s identity is known to authorities, he has not yet been apprehended.
