Μake us preferred on Google A 26-year-old woman was slightly injured and her pet was killed after a dog attacked them in Acharnes, north of Athens, on Tuesday morning, according to Greek police.
The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. on Aug. 25, when the woman was walking with her dog on Amarrylidos Street. The animal attacked them from a yard.
The woman suffered minor injuries in the attack, while her pet died.
Dog owner arrested
Police arrested the dog’s owner, a 54-year-old Ukrainian national, in connection with the incident.
A case file was filed against him for violations of animal protection legislation, damage to another person’s property and bodily harm caused by negligence.
