EJEKT Festival 2026, is this years iteration of one of Greece’s most popular music festivals. Celebrating its 21st year, this summer will feature a two-day lineup at the Telekom Athens Center in OAKA, bringing some of the most compelling names in international alternative and rock music to Athens.
Day 1, July 14
Florence Welch and her band Florence + The Machine headline opening night. The acclaimed British indie rock act, formed in 2007, brings its “Everybody Scream” world tour to Athens in support of their sixth studio album of the same name, the follow-up to 2022’s “Dance Fever.”

Welch has said the new record was shaped by a period of recovery following emergency surgery during the 2023 “Dance Fever” tour, and that anxiety and mysticism heavily influenced the album’s balance of grief and empowerment, according to comments she made to Rolling Stone.

The Cure return to Greece for the first time in seven years, having last played EJEKT in 2019 to more than 30,000 fans. Formed in Crawley in 1976 by Robert Smith and Lol Tolhurst, the band has released 14 studio albums and sold more than 30 million records worldwide.

Their most recent release, 2024’s “Songs of a Lost World,” arrived after 16 years and was widely praised. Smith has told NME that two more albums are already finished, with a third, poppier one in the works, though the next release is expected to sound even darker than “Songs of a Lost World.”
Nothing But Thieves, whose “Dead City Club” (2023) topped the UK Album Charts, make their third Athens appearance after 2022 and 2024.
