The Presidential Mansion once again opened its doors for the reception marking the 52nd anniversary of the restoration of democracy in Greece, bringing together prominent figures from the political, business, cultural and artistic worlds.

Beyond the evening’s institutional significance, attention—as it does every year—also turned to the guests’ elegant arrivals, striking appearances and fashion choices. Due to the high temperatures and prevailing weather conditions, this year’s reception was held inside the Presidential Mansion rather than in its gardens, creating a more formal yet equally glamorous setting for nearly 1,700 guests.

The evening was defined by refined dress codes, with most women opting for elegant midi and maxi dresses, flowing silhouettes and timeless designs that balanced sophistication with understated luxury. Pastel shades, white, navy blue and earthy tones dominated, while discreet jewellery, metallic sandals and elegant clutches completed many of the looks without overshadowing the outfits themselves.

Men, meanwhile, largely adhered to the classic aesthetics of dark suits and formal eveningwear. Well-tailored jackets, crisp white shirts and carefully chosen ties created a timeless sense of elegance, with details such as cufflinks, silk pocket squares and polished leather shoes adding the finishing touches.

As with any major public event, the evening was also marked by a number of notable absences. However, the focus of photographers remained firmly on the arrivals and polished appearances of those who attended.
