Greek authorities are investigating a shocking murder in Nea Peramos after the body of a young man was found bound and shot in a local stream. The discovery followed his mysterious disappearance earlier this month.
The victim, who lived with his partner in Elefsina, went missing on the morning of January 26. According to his partner, he had returned from an internet café and rang the doorbell after forgetting his keys, but never entered their apartment. When he failed to return, she searched for him, discovering that his phone was turned off.
Security camera footage captured the violent abduction. Two individuals dressed in black restrained the victim outside his home and forced him into a car, one of them appearing to be armed. Authorities later determined the vehicle had stolen license plates. No contact for ransom was reported, raising questions about the motive.
