Results from forensic examination
According to the forensic examination, the 45-year-old woman was shot in the head. The bullet became lodged in the bones of her skull and traveled from top to bottom.
The suspect then turned the gun toward her temple and fired once, with the bullet traveling from right to left.
The forensic examination found no other bruises or injuries on the 45-year-old’s body.
Victim’s brother makes shocking revelations
Speaking to Live News on Monday afternoon, the victim’s brother revealed that the woman had been afraid of her ex partner. She had even changed the locks at her new home because the man kept entering the house without warning.
“He had even pulled out a gun, she told me last Thursday. I told her to go to the police. She probably did. I don’t know, I don’t know anything right now. That’s why I’m telling you, I told her to go to the [police] department and file it, to seek a restraining order against him. I don’t know what happens now. I don’t know. I’ve lost everything.
He knew what time my sister went to work. She moved houses two or three weeks ago. She also changed the lock because he had a spare key, and when my sister went to work, he would enter the house.
When my sister came home from work, from going out, and saw things had been moved around inside, she would tell me, ‘Tony, look, I want a new lock tomorrow.’ I said, ‘I’ll send you a lock so you can change it.’ As soon as she changed the lock, whatever conversation my sister had with her sister, with me, with friends — it was as if he was monitoring her. My sister would say, ‘I can’t talk to my friends, I can’t talk to you, I’m trapped. He’s listening to me from somewhere,'” her brother said.
