On New Year’s Eve, the Union of Liosion Residents from Ilion suburb (western Attica) visited Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Maximos Mansion, bringing traditional carols, warm wishes, and smiles. The Prime Minister and his daughter Sophia exchanged greetings and gifts with the group.

Adding a playful touch to the festivities was Peanut, the family dog, dressed in a festive Christmas outfit. Peanut, a sweet and lively young dog, was adopted in April 2021 by Prime Minister Mitsotakis after they met at the Ilioupolis Animal Welfare Union. He has since become the first official “prime ministerial dog” of the Maximos Mansion, charming visitors and residents alike.
