The Municipality of Piraeus’ “Summer in the City 2026” program continues this weekend, offering a wide range of free activities for children and families across neighborhoods throughout the city.
According to the municipality, on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, public squares, parks, and playgrounds will be transformed into lively spaces for entertainment, creativity, and family fun. The weekend program features theatrical performances, outdoor film screenings, creative workshops, bubble shows, and interactive games designed to inspire children’s imagination while providing quality leisure activities close to home and adding vibrancy to local communities.

Saturday, July 4
• 8:00 p.m. | Dilaveri Park (5th Municipal Community): Bubble Show – A spectacular live bubble performance.
• 8:00 p.m. | Korai Square (2nd Municipal Community): Summer entertainment by Memesito.gr, featuring games, dancing, face painting, balloon art, and giant bubbles.
• 8:00 p.m. | Chrysostomou Smyrnis & Nirvana Playground (3rd Municipal Community): Children’s creative workshop, Pebbles by the Seashore.
• 9:00 p.m. | Palataki Playground (1st Municipal Community): Outdoor children’s cinema screening of The Bad Guys.
Sunday, July 5
• 8:00 p.m. | Karpathou Square (1st Municipal Community): Little Creators of the Sea – A creative workshop for children aged 3 to 8.
• 8:00 p.m. | Eleftherios Venizelos & Solomou Playground (3rd Municipal Community): Little Seafarers – An interactive children’s activity.
• 8:30 p.m. | Pavlou Melas Square (5th Municipal Community): Traditional shadow puppet theatre performance, Karagiozis and the Chest of Misfortune.
• 9:00 p.m. | Deligianni Square (2nd Municipal Community): Outdoor children’s cinema screening of The Croods.
Admission to all events is free.
