On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Greece will experience unsettled weather with showers and thunderstorms in many areas. Rain and storms are expected across the mainland, the Ionian Islands, and the northern Aegean. Temperatures will stay relatively low for the season: 7–19°C in Western Macedonia, 11–24°C in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace, 14–24°C in Thessaly, 10–24°C in Epirus, 12–24°C in Central Greece, 9–27°C in the Peloponnese, 14–24°C in the Ionian Islands, 14–24°C in the northern and eastern Aegean, 16–25°C in the Cyclades, 21–26°C in the Dodecanese, and 12–25°C in Crete.
Winds in the Aegean will blow from the north at 3–5 Beaufort, while in the Ionian they will be variable up to 3 Beaufort, turning southerly at 2–4 Beaufort in the afternoon.
In Athens, cloudy skies with a chance of light, brief showers are expected. Temperatures will range between 18–24°C with light variable winds up to 3 Beaufort.
In Thessaloniki, cloudy conditions with occasional light rain are forecast. Temperatures will range between 16–20°C, with light variable winds up to 3 Beaufort.
