In Attica, very long periods of sunshine are expected. Temperatures will be cool early in the morning in many parts of the region, with the thermometer dropping to 13°C in central Athens. By late afternoon, however, temperatures in central Athens will reach 26°C.
A few thin clouds are expected in Thessaloniki and the wider Central Macedonia region, along with long periods of sunshine during the day. Temperatures will range from 12°C to 25°C, reaching 25°C in central Thessaloniki in the late afternoon, with northerly winds at 3-5 Beaufort, locally reaching 6 Beaufort.
Weather Friday and Saturday
On Friday, the weather will be unsettled in the central-western and western parts of Greece. Conditions will be better farther east and south, with longer periods of sunshine. Temperatures will reach 24-26°C on the mainland and 26-27°C in southern island areas.
On Saturday, the rain is expected to move farther east. It will affect areas including the rest of Central Greece, Thessaly, and Thrace, as well as parts of the Aegean. Temperatures will range from 25-28°C.
