A 37-year-old man has been released on bail following his arrest on charges of secretly filming a woman in the restrooms of an indoor sports center in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. A subsequent police search of his home uncovered material featuring nude or semi-nude women who had been recorded without their knowledge in various public locations, including beaches and public transit.

The suspect was called to appear before the Second Criminal Investigative Judge of Thessaloniki on a felony charge of recording the private acts of another person without consent.

According to reports, the man presented himself as remorseful during his appearance and requested a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether an underlying mental health condition may have played a role. He also stated that the material had not been shared with any third parties and that it did not capture the faces of the women involved.
