The day will begin with rain and isolated thunderstorms in Epirus, Western Macedonia, the Ionian Islands, and possibly Western Thessaly. There is also a chance of showers over the Northern Aegean Islands, Evia, and mountainous areas of Crete. The weather will gradually improve from west to east, with conditions clearing quickly in the west and easing in the Peloponnese by late afternoon. By evening, rainfall will be mostly confined to central and northern parts of the country.
