The suspect reportedly told authorities he struck the woman following an argument. Sources indicate the two were known to each other, while a key piece of evidence was the last phone call recorded on the victim’s mobile phone, which was traced back to him.

The young woman was found unconscious and severely injured in the parking area of a residential building, with multiple injuries, primarily to the head. She was first taken to a local hospital before being transferred to a major hospital in Thessaloniki, where she remains intubated in the intensive care unit.

She is currently intubated in intensive care, with doctors describing her condition as extremely serious. Medical staff have warned of the possibility of long-term complications, even if she survives.
