The Athens Traders Association has announced its proposed schedule for store hours during the 2025 holiday season, including which Sundays shops may open and how Sunday wages are regulated under Greek law

The 2024 Christmas Holidays extended shop hours schedule commences on Thursday, December 12 and runs until the end of the year.

Starting on Dec. 11, items included in this year’s 'Christmas basket' will be sold at fixed prices across supermarkets in Greece.
