Looking at the 12-month period from February 2024 to January 2025, the total construction activity, both private and public, saw the issuance of 30,631 permits.

A total of 2,602 building permits were granted, reflecting an increase of 5.2% in the number of permits, a 31.2% rise in surface area, and a substantial 46.7% surge in volume compared to the same month in 2023.

Alpha Bank underlines that despite these drawbacks, the construction building sector has shown positive performance since the beginning of the year, maintaining the growth trajectory of recent years.
