Inbound arrivals grew by 5.6% and tourism receipts by 9.4%, translating into approximately 42.97 million visitors in 2025, compared to 2024.

Germany remained Greece’s largest source market with 5.65 million visitors, up 8.3%, followed by the United Kingdom with 4.68 million (+6.6%).

The largest increases in absolute numbers of tourist arrivals were reported in the regions of South Aegean (+5.6% arrivals, +8.2% overnight stays)

Inbound travelers to Greece boosted tourism-related revenues to 21.27 billion euros in the Jan.-Nov. 2024 period.
