Kansas Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped Beneath Portable Toilet

A Kansas City man was freed after firefighters used an electric saw to cut through a portable toilet, with the unusual rescue ending in a successful extraction and a hose-down.

A routine emergency call turned into an unusual rescue operation after firefighters in Kansas City freed a man who became trapped beneath the seat of a portable toilet.

Video of the incident shows members of the Kansas City Fire Department surrounding the portable toilet as they carefully used an electric saw to cut through its plastic structure in an effort to reach the man.

How the individual ended up trapped beneath the toilet bowl remains unclear.

The footage captures firefighters taking a cautious approach as they cut away sections of the portable toilet while the man remained stuck inside.

Once the opening was large enough, firefighters instructed him to climb out. During the rescue, the man could be heard repeatedly shouting, “Listen!” as emergency crews continued working to free him.

The rescue ended successfully, with firefighters pulling the man from the portable toilet before giving him a hose-down beside the fire truck.
