American tech magnate and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been spending his summer holidays in Greece, making headlines with the appearance of his extravagant superyacht Launchpad and its support vessel Wingman along the Corinthian Gulf coast. On Tuesday, June 10, the two vessels were seen anchored near Alepochori, a seaside village north of Megara.
Following a visit to Kefalonia, in the Ionian Sea last week, the Launchpad—a 118-meter yacht reportedly worth $400 million—was tracked just off the shores of Alepochori. AIS data and the popular live tracking platform MarineTraffic confirm the yacht’s approach to the Greek coast after departing from Valletta, Malta several days earlier.
The sight of the towering superyacht drew immediate attention. Local port authorities and the Megara police department responded to the high-profile arrival, further fueling speculation that Zuckerberg, his wife, and several guests were on board.
Last week, both the Launchpad and Wingman spent a few days in the Ionian Sea, anchoring off Preveza. However, the billionaire was not seen during that stop.
On Tuesday night, several crew members from the 68-meter Wingman—equipped with a helipad and a 15-meter tender for short trips—came ashore in Alepochori for a relaxed evening stroll through the village.
Zuckerberg and his entourage are expected to sail through the Corinth Canal in the coming days, continuing their journey toward the Cyclades, where the cruise is set to resume with Facebook executives in tow.
