Greek vocal powerhouse Klavdia, known for her captivating voice and growing international reach, joins forces with Ukraine’s most popular pop artist on Spotify, Jerry Heil—also a member of the Recording Academy (Grammy Awards)—for a striking new bilingual rendition of the track “CATHARTICUS”.

The release, titled “CATHARTICUS (Greek version)”, blends Latin prayer motifs, traditional Ukrainian vocal elements, and a modern pop sensibility, resulting in a layered and emotionally resonant soundscape. The addition of Greek lyrics, paired with both artists’ distinctive vocal interpretations, further elevates the song’s melodic depth and spiritual dimension, strengthening its universal appeal.

Klavdia described the collaboration as a uniquely meaningful experience:

“Working with Jerry was truly special. ‘CATHARTICUS’ touched us from the very first moment, with its melody and vocals creating an atmosphere unlike anything else. Its distinctive lyrical concept inspired us to approach it creatively and adapt it into Greek as well. Without hesitation, we committed ourselves fully to the process, translating both its aesthetic and emotional essence into our language. We hope listeners enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

She added:

“It’s incredible how a simple melody can bring people and cultures together. Music knows no borders—it is a universal language, and collaborations like this prove it.”
From her side, Jerry Heil highlighted the song’s warm reception and the creative connection between the two artists:

“’CATHARTICUS’ has received such a warm response—especially in Greece. I feel deeply grateful every time I realize how much people there have embraced it. When Klavdia suggested we work together, I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to connect our cultures through music, the purest and most honest form of communication beyond borders and time. What meant a lot to me was that she was the first to suggest singing in Ukrainian—I didn’t expect that. So I replied in Greek.”

The track had already generated strong anticipation online, going viral following an early teaser that hinted at the collaboration between the two singers, sparking widespread interest well before its official release.
