Leon of Athens Brings New Show to Athens’ Klakaz

The singer-songwriter will perform two Saturday shows featuring a new band, new songs, visual production and special guests, moving between nostalgia, the present and what comes next

Leon of Athens will return to the Athens stage this October for two concerts at Klakaz, promising a new live show built around new songs, a new band, visual effects and special guests.

The performances will take place on Saturday, October 3, and Saturday, October 10, at Klakaz, a live music venue on Avramiotou Street in Monastiraki, central Athens.

Described as two musical journeys “from darkness to light,” the shows will bring together songs from different points in Leon’s repertoire, with a sound that moves between contemporary alternative pop and more timeless songwriting.

The concerts will also trace an emotional arc that mirrors the stories in his songs, allowing nostalgia, the present and the future to coexist on the same stage.

The set will feature some of Leon of Athens’ best-known songs, including “Anemos,” his collaboration with Katerine Duska; the summery “Ti Na ’Nai Afto”; “Teleutaia Fora,” his upbeat collaboration with Billie Kark; the romantic “Kymata”; and the travel-inspired “Aeroplane.”

A prominent place in the set will go to “AUTOKINHTO,” from Marina Satti’s album POP TOO, as well as “EDO,” a new duet with Satti.

Leon will also perform “ALLI MIA MERA,” another song pointing toward his first Greek-language album, which is expected to be released in spring 2026.

The shows will not be limited to Leon’s own material. His set will include covers of songs he personally loves, including music by Greek acts Stereo Nova, Xylina Spathia and Mikro, alongside unexpected surprises.

Two nights, two opening acts

The two concerts will feature different opening acts.

The Astrolabe will open the October 3 performance, while Léona will take the stage before Leon’s October 10 show.

The concerts will take place at Klakaz, 6-8 Avramiotou St., Monastiraki, Athens, on October 3 and 10.

About Leon of Athens

Leon of Athens’ official website presents the artist through a catalog that includes “Aeroplane,” “Fire Inside You,” “Utopia” and “Xenos,” alongside his touring activity.

For his October Athens shows, that body of work will meet a new live setup and a repertoire that increasingly incorporates Greek-language material, collaborations and songs looking toward his forthcoming Greek-language album.
