The Greek government has opened the application platform for the Thessaly Evros Pass 2025, a travel support initiative offering digital vouchers worth up to €200. The program is designed to boost tourism and support local economies in regions affected by natural disasters in 2023.

Who Is Eligible and What’s Offered

Applicants can submit their requests on the official platform vouchers.gov.gr until Friday, July 25, 2025. Selected recipients will receive a digital prepaid card to use in designated areas for accommodation, dining, and local transportation.

No income criteria apply. To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be tax residents of Greece (based on the 2023 tax return),
  • Not have declared primary residence in the listed regions,
  • Not be recipients of other tourism aid programs for 2024–2026, such as the DYPA Social Tourism scheme.

Permanent residents of the eligible areas are excluded from the program.

Vouchers will be distributed evenly across the three phases.

  • Applications cannot be modified or canceled after the deadline.

The Thessaly Evros Pass is part of Greece’s broader effort to revitalize areas hit by floods in Thessaly and wildfires in Evros in 2023. It is jointly implemented by multiple ministries and funded through the Public Investment Program, with technical management by GRNET, the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology agency.

The total 2025 budget for the initiative is approximately €2 million.
