The conservative ruling party of New Democracy (ND) maintains a steady lead, with PASOK holding second place, while Plefsi Eleftherias falls to fourth, according to the latest poll conducted by Interview for Political newspaper.

In the projected election outcome, New Democracy secures 28.3% of the vote, followed by PASOK with 14.2%. Greek Solution comes in third with 10.5%, just ahead of Plefsi Eleftherias at 9.6%. The Communist Party (KKE) garners 8.3%, while SYRIZA trails with just 4.2%.

Further down the list, the Democracy Movement is projected at 3.8%, MeRA25 at 3.5%, Niki at 3%, Voice of Logic at 2.8%, and the New Left at 2.2%.

On the question of which leader is more trustworthy, 28% of respondents chose PM Mitsotakis, followed by “no one” with 26%. PASOK leader Nikos Androulakis garnered 10%, while Kyriakos Velopoulos of the Greek Solution party (Elliniki Lysi) received 9%.

The poll highlights strong public opposition to the potential formation of new political parties by former prime ministers Antonis Samaras on the conservative spectrum and Alexis Tsipras from the left.

When asked whether they would vote for a party led by Antonis Samaras, 85% of respondents said they would not, with only 10% answering in favor and 5% remaining undecided. Similarly, a substantial portion (80%) said they would not vote for a party led by former SYRIZA head Alexis Tsipras.

Unsurprisingly, the state of the economy was by far at the top of the list for those questioned regarding the most pressing matters affecting their daily lives. This was followed by demographic challenges, with the top five concerns rounded out by the healthcare system, corruption, and education.
