Another suspected Houthi attack against a Greek-owned took place on Monday, with two fatalities and two injuries among the crew reported. The attack took place some 50 nautical miles west of the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah in the Red Sea.

None of the crewmembers was a Greek national.

According to preliminary reports, speedboats carrying gunmen used rocket launchers to attack the vessel, while two UAVs first hit the latter.

The Liberia-flagged bulk carrier is managed by a Piraeus-based company and was headed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Latest reports say the vessel had lost power and was ungovernable.

Earlier, Yemen-based and Iran-supported Houthi rebels claimed they had sunk the Greek-owned freighter Magic Seas in the Red Sea.
